Hi my name is Nancy Barr; I am a native Vermonter grew up in Bethel which is a very small town. My husband Buzz and I moved to White River Jct in 1985. Buzz is also a true Vermonter, (you can tell when you talk to him) he grew up in Woodstock. I started working for House of Fabrics in West Lebanon New Hampshire as manager from 1986-1993. When I left I said I would open a quilt shop where customer service was the top priority and here we are. Country Quilters Emporium opened on March 13, 2000 in the P&C plaza in White River Jct., VT. We soon out grew that space and moved to the Junction Marketplace on Rt 5 still in White River Jct. We opened with one of our great assets a part-time employee who is still with us. Buzz left his job in December 2006 so that he could work full time with us. .We all enjoy our customers who most have become friends
